If you are a climber, and aren’t a big fan of flat sections, then the Dolomites could be your ideal destination. Even if you’re not a huge fan of going up, then the lovely views offered by the region will make you quiet.

Usually starting in Canazei, this tour can be started from any of the valleys it goes through, clockwise or anti-clockwise: Val di Fassa, Val Gardena/Gröden, Val Badia and Arabba. However, our usual departure point is Campitello di Fassa.

The tour is planned clockwise so the first passes to cross are Passo Pordoi and then Passo Sella. Then we are heading down towards Passo Gardena and afterwards Colfosco. At the end of the descent with our bikes we will have a deserved break in Corvara, the starting point for the next pass: Campolongo. After reaching the top of it, we will descend again to Arabba, ready to climb up the last uphill of the day: Passo Pordoi.

From Passo Pordoi we will then get back downhill to Canazei and to our original starting point in Campitello di Fassa.

This magnificent tour will take 5 hours with a length of approximately 70 km by 1970 m elevation gain
